Jade Earle
Co Chair of Governors
I live and work locally in Exeter and have a daughter who attends the school as well as another daughter at nursery who will be starting school next year.
I joined the governing board in 2021 as I have an interest in education but also, like any parent, want to ensure that all of our children get the best out of school that they can.
I work for Exeter City Council as a HR Business Partner and have been part of the Human Resources Team there for more than 15 years. I feel that my experience and knowledge can positively contribute to the governing board and school.
Andy Pheasant
I have a daughter in year 6 and a son in year 3. Both joined the school in the fantastic Nursery and have been at Stoke Hill through infants and then into junior school.
Jo Cook
I have lived in Exeter for over 20 years and have 3 boys, 2 of whom have been all the way through Stoke Hill, from the Nursery to year 6 and on to secondary school. My youngest son, Alexander, is in Reception so we are right back at the beginning again!
I was a family lawyer for many years and now work in the risk and compliance team at a local law firm.
As a parent governor, I will approach my role from a parental perspective. I want the children at Stoke Hill to have the best school experience they can. Stoke Hill has been a significant part of my family’s life for many years and I am excited to be able to support the school in this role.
Katrina McGuigan
Co Chair of Governors
I have three children, two who are already fully integrated at Stoke Hill and one who is very excited to join his brother and sister in September 2024.
My professional background is in education, and I have been teaching for 13 years as a History Teacher at Uffculme School. I love my job and am excited to bring my experience of working in a high performing education environment to the board of governors. I also have a passion for extra curricular activities and look forward to exploring these opportunities at Stoke Hill.
Jesney Stone

I am from Taunton but have lived in Exeter for 8 years. I am Mum to Olive, who is in Reception and Ralph, who is three.
My background is in secondary education and I have been teaching for 10 years. I currently work at Queen Elizabeth's School in Crediton as the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. I believe in the importance of building close working relationships between the school and the families that I work with and I hope to bring this to the role of parent governor. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Performing Arts and I am passionate about developing creativity, curiosity and confidence in young people through the Arts in the curriculum.
