Our Core Offer
Within our mission to make Stoke Hill a great place to learn, work and play we ensure inclusivity for all. It is our commitment and determination that all individuals will succeed and excel in all aspects of their learning. Our senior mental health lead strives to ensure the whole team embed positive mental health and wellbeing across our school culture to create an environment where pupils can thrive.
We deliver a universal offer of teaching Personal, Social, Emotional, Health Education via the Jigsaw programme.
How we identify wellbeing concerns for children
- Teacher observations during PSHE lessons.
- Noting and observing any concerning behaviours from pupils’ day to day.
- Pupil choosing to share worries.
- Information from Parent/Carer
- We have assessment systems in place to identify the diverse needs of children such as:
- Completion of Graduated Response Tool- specifically social and emotional.
- Completion of a ‘strengths, difficulties, weaknesses questionnaire.
- Cause for concern- complete an inclusion referral form for internal team to evaluate.
